Enid has more than 20 years of experience in marketing communications and journalism and has been labeled a ‘media maven” by the Washington Post. She is active in numerous digital inclusion projects and served as the media coordinator for the National Action Network’s 50th Anniversary March on Washington.
Enid provides public relations strategies for the Philadelphia Energy Co-op, MidCity Financial, New Columbia Solar, the DC Health Alliance Network and DC Habitat for Humanity. She also represents. Jesse J. Holland, author of “Who Is The Black Panther?” the book commissioned by Marvel Entertainment for the megahit “The Black Panther.” Prior to forming INSPR Media, she was communications director for the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) where she launched the organization’s social media platforms and helped create the organization’s “Inside Government” radio program. She has done public relations work for Pepsi Cola, The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF), the National SAFEKids Campaign, the Black Women’s Roundtable, ESSENCE magazine, the Democratic National Committee, the AFL-CIO, Wyeth Laboratories, the Campaign for America’s Future, the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) and several local businesses. She previously worked for the Associated Press, WTOP-AM, Greer, Margolis, Mitchell & Burns and Ketchum Public Relations.
She served as the communications training coordinator for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Political Boot Camp for aspiring political leaders. Her journalism career includes stints with Associated Press, WTOP-AM, and WHUR-FM. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Black Data Professional Associates (BDPA) and the National Press Club. She is the recipient of several awards including a “Pollie” from the American Association of Political Consultants and a Silver Anvil from PRSA. Enid was featured in the June 2012 issue of PR Week as a “D.C. Influencer.” She is a graduate of the Ohio University School of Journalism.
